Are the members of congress and the president out of their minds, or are they simply working for people other than Americans?
The one problem easiest to immediately solve is our dependence on our enemies for oil.
Our elitist government does not really care if taxpayers pay a high cost for gasoline. Obama sees it going over 7 dollars a gallon.
But, what do they care. We pay for their gasoline along with enormous salaries, expenses, pensions, outrageous salary increases and health care, just to mention a few of their perks.
They have an arrogant nerve doing the things they do while celebrating a 90% disapproval rating from legal citizens of the United States.
They should all be turned over to Sheriff Joe, forced to wear pink underwear and live in tents in the desert.
Of course, some of them might relish the pink underwear.

Wasting Time
I disgustedly stopped writing letters to the editor. But I had to write this one congratulating all the terrific letters condemning the so-called healthcare bill being passed by a brazen arrogant congress that has about a 20% approval rating. This is the same congress that ignores the increased cost of living for seniors while voting themselves a giant salary increase.
Most Americans know to confront the health care cost you do not need a 2500 page document comprised in secret by individuals we would not buy a used car from (or even a new one).
A simple solution would have been to eliminate state insurance boundaries, tort reform and eliminate fraud. How idiotic of the president and congress to say they will eliminate fraud once the bill is passed. Shouldn’t that be done right now or years ago?
Instead of wasting time on this stupid bill, the president and congress should have been concentrating on other major problems facing our Country.
Isn’t it amazing that presidents and congress are the ones that have and are now destroying our Country from within?
They created our worst enemy in Iran, destroyed our manufacturing base with NAFTA and GATT, reduced our military and intelligence capability, while continually printing fiat money and spending it foolishly. And, our congress must take the blame for our current economic crisis.
Now the president and his cohorts (czars and congress) are on the road to changing the United States of America into a socialistic country ruled by a would be Marxist.
Again congratulations to the many sensible Lake Havasu letter –writers and the Tea Party people. We have many logical thinking people in this City.
